My wedding day was the most exciting day of my life. I absolutely adored the heavily beaded wedding dress I wore on this special occasion. I almost enjoyed shopping for this gown as much as I did wearing it. Are you planning an upcoming wedding? Make shopping for a wedding dress a fun experience by inviting your closest family members and friends to go with you. Try on several different dresses in a variety of styles. You might feel you want a ball gown. However, you may discover you like an A-line one better while in the dressing room of a wedding boutique. 3 Good Ideas To Include At An Upcoming Benefit You Are Planning

If you are planning a benefit for a friend that was recently diagnosed with a major illness, you will have your hands full getting ready for the event. Benefits are a great way to show support to people going through rough times, yet they require a lot of work. While you may already have some ideas planned for the event, here are three ideas that you might not have thought of.

3. Make T-Shirts

One good idea for benefits is ordering custom-made t-shirts for everyone that is involved with the benefit. You could also order extra shirts to sell as a way to raise more money at your event. Custom t-shirts are nice because you can choose the:

  • Color
  • Style
  • Wording
  • Graphics

You can order as many custom shirts as you would like, and this is one of the best ways to show your friend that you support him or her. Another added bonus of this idea is that you can keep the shirt and wear it for years to come.

Order a Photo Booth

A benefit generally includes a meal, entertainment, and a silent auction, but you can plan other activities too that can be helpful for raising money. One idea is a photo booth, and you can rent one of these from a rental store. They will deliver to your location and you can charge people for pictures.

Another idea is to find a local photographer that is willing to donate some time to your benefit. The photographer can take fun photos of the guests and they can place orders on the photographer's website.

To make this even more exciting, you could gather costumes and accessories and place them in a box near the photo booth. Guests could dress up before getting their pictures taken, and this is something that people may really enjoy.

Include a Rummage Sale

Most benefits do not normally have rummage sales,  but this is a great way to raise more money for your friend. You can ask guests to drop off donations for it, and you can also post notices around your town to ask for donations.

All of the proceeds from the sale will be profit, but you will have to plan on having one or two people there to collect money from the sales.

With the ideas you already have and these three, you may have enough activities planned to ensure that your upcoming benefit is a success. For more help, try contacting a company like Scorpion Graphics Inc. for help.
